DETAIL SPECIFICATION
SWITCHES, ELECTRICAL AND FIBER OPTIC, PACKAGING OF
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and
Agencies of the Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers the requirements for the preservation, packing, and container marking for all
types of electrical and fiber optic switches, switch assemblies, and associated accessories that are primarily in FSC's
5930 and 6021. As used in this specification, the term "switches" will also include switch assemblies.
